The Grand Triangle linking Pluto/ ​Jupiter / Uranus has been the theme of the last six months, bringing with it knowledge about our Earth's future and Humanity's world view and whether they are compatible or not. Pluto is wreaking the foundations of civilization (Capricorn) whilst being in conflict with both, progressive expansion in the way we find balance in the world together (Jupiter in Libra) and with communication between the individual and institutions or the collective (Uranus in Aries). The Grand Triangle will have dissipated by the end of March as the conflict between Pluto and Uranus finds its completion when Mercury enters Taurus, which suggests the completion will be expressed through ownership of communication, or conversely as an event that communicates the dire need for taking ownership of the human struggle to adequately deal with the very real threats to our existence on this planet. Naturally one looks to Mars for clues, as Mars is associated with war and conflict, to gauge our chances to take up the desires of most people in the world who wish for peaceful resolutions of conflict. Mars is in Aries till the middle of March and is bringing in the springtime of a new Zeitgeist that is changing the nature of our personal identities as members of a species and dredging up all the ancient cognitive distortions that defined self-hood (racial or cultural differences). Mars in Taurus defuses the power of Mars in Aries but the power of the ego is overwhelming when Mars is in its home segment. The State is still the largest collective representation of human habitation and it is likely that during this month it will assume complete possession of the means of human communication, the antithesis of democratic procedure. However, have a look at Venus who will retrograde in Aries in early March and move back through Aries toward Pisces where it has spent quite a bit of time during 2016. Traditionally Venus is attracted and terrified by Mars, and finds the deep pools of the subconscious in Pisces a much easier albeit much less exciting place to dwell. This aspect may ameliorate the march of Mars toward ownership of the means of communication , and allow individuals the chance to assume ownership of their own means of communication outside State parameters. Remember the collective has an ego too, but minds together means critical analysis, whereas hearts together needs no geography. The other important feature of the chart is Mercury's movement through Pisces and Aries to meet Mars in Taurus by mid April. As Mercury represents choices and awareness, it too will be opening up our awareness of the nature of this new Zeitgeist that comes as an instinctual human response to its immanent demise. Either you will deny it is happening or you will be some way ahead on the path of assuming responsibility for our survival, and Mercury will be filling you in about the old ways that are threatening that survival (Pisces) and the new ways that will insure it (Aries) and when Mercury enters the realm of Uranus late March, some great innovations that will give great hope will begin to be made known, depending of course on how much the State tries to own the means of our communicating it. Remember the future of the State is at stake and when the ego is faced with annihilation it stops pretending it's your friend.

House Influences

1. Self : Mars is ramping up the power of ego as it moves through its home segment of Self, and that means defending personal space issues will stand out, and perhaps need some resolution. New agreements between partners or groups will emerge in order to adapt to any changing or increased understanding of what each individual demands from others. The balance is usually met through negotiation and compromise.

2. Money/ Work : Venus is heading back toward the depths of Pisces giving us a chance to review our feelings about any losses or gains that have been made since Venus was last there in 2016. However moving in retrograde through Aries away from the influence of Uranus and Mars will mean conflicts will arise around the efficacy of any major plans or investments.

3. Communication : Mercury was psycho-pomp last month and we all found out about the illusion of the truth (fake news, normalization of deliberate deception etc). But as Mercury enters into the redemptive sphere of Neptune in Pisces all kinds of horrors are being broadcast (One of the forms of expression of the archetype of Mercury is the internet, and we are seeing the child turn into an adolescent presently), which will give the humanist core of our species some pause to reconsider the extremes of Mars. Expect a period of review that will make even the most hardened heart wilt towards redemption.

4. Home and Community: Home and Community is the hidden focus of human energy as superstructures such as the State continue to be transformed (Pluto in Capricorn). As the Moon passes each planet during the month the mood changes within the home, according to the phase of the Moon and the energy of the planet it passes and according to which house that planet is in. Biologically this happens naturally and we hardly notice. This is an excellent time to bring more awareness of what each mood change entails when dealing with family and community matters. Make a list of how you perceived any change in mood within the home and try to match it with the movement of the moon through the signs, you might be surprised what you find.

5. Expressive Self-Belief : The Sun in the house of Spirituality and Release brings many deep issues related to identity to the surface to be processed or denied, but always eventually processed whether consciously or by force of consequence. The Sun is like the truth in that it depends on your distance from it that makes life livable, so being too close will burn you, or be barren of meaning, or being to far away will freeze you, and again be infertile. Choose your position sensibly, and expressing your self will be like a moderate summers day making issues so much easier to process.

6. Health : Mercury starts March in Pisces and finishes in Taurus, passing Neptune, Venus and Uranus on its way to end the month just behind Mars. Plan for some time to reflect and re-assess in early March, as Neptune seeks to rid the body of guilt or shame that has become noticeable in the physical body. New ways of dealing with emotional issues will become apparent by the end of March leaving only the will to discipline.

7. Relationships and Bonds : Venus in the house of Self is usually a positive sign in relation to Relationships and Bonds, as it denotes a positive sense of self worth generating a sharing attitude. However, Mars is around creating trouble and the decision to act for the self or being selfless will become increasingly difficult. Don't let stray and spontaneous anger ruin your ability to add compromises to relationship conflicts. In retrograde Venus seeks to separate in order to bring greater unity.

8. Sex, Emotions and Moods : Mars enters the house of Possessions (Money/Work) in mid March reducing the pressures on the Self felt last month, but in early March those pressures will reach a peak as Mars releases itself from the shocking influence of Uranus. Innovation around work and investments will then follow which you will need a strong sense of self possession to take advantage of.

9. Goals and Visions : Jupiter in the house of Relationships and Bonds is administering the expansion of rights and freedoms and pushing old systems to breaking point. Still Justice will be done as new balances take effect and reveal how far any goals and visions you hold can really go. Get out your calculators and do the maths before you buy into anything.

10. Investments and Securities : After Mercury's revelations last month comes a sense of knowing what large scale structures are likely to look like in the future, but there is still a mass of uncertainty as Pluto wreaks havoc in large and ancient systems and threatens the very future of humanity itself. Saturn planted in the house of goals and visions brings the foil of realism and reason to the imagination's table.

11. Friendships and Agreements : Uranus is moving through the house of Self creating changes in how we each identify with collective energies and structures, and this will receive a welcome boost of self belief in early March as Mars passes its orbit. State a case for your own care and love and the doors may open to others.

12 : Spirituality and Release : Mars released the hounds of Materialism when it entered Aries but Venus will return to the home of the winter of the Piscean age which is our old relationship to projections of our internal archetypes, which the Aquarian age will invariably change. Venus is going though Aries now but will retreat back to Pisces mid March so watch for a sudden uplifting of belief in the Gods of the past after this period of increasing scepticism.
